Poultry expertise over 3 generations
The foundations of Bruno Siebert Poultry lie in a family story. Since taking over his mother Yvonne’s business raising and slaughtering young cockerels and chickens at the Mill in Wolxheim in 1978, Bruno Siebert has continued to expand the company. He is now leader for quality poultry in Alsace. His wife Annie and his children Lucie and Antoine are following him on this wonderful adventure.
Joins the association Alsace Poultry, quality sector, to produce the Alsace Label Rouge free-range chicken.
Diversification of activities (whole chickens and cuts, rabbits), while restructuring the farming division in parallel.
Relocation to Ergersheim to reach an industrial scale.
Start of Bruno Siebert poultry exports to Switzerland. Strong growth in turnover and production.
Investment to enlarge the production plant (+ 7000 m²), automate the portioning line, create a continuous dynamic chilling line and a storage area for frozen products. Launch of a range of processed products (stuffed products, cold poultry meats).
Development of new local products: organic free-range chickens and corn-fed chickens.
New extension of the Siebert production site to support the development of processed poultry products.
Development of new administrative premises. Construction of a new building to hold live chickens before slaughter.
